Personal: 
Talk about a ‘rags to riches’ story…Skiv is the definition of that cliché if you ask any 2009 Nutone member. Written off as just a yearly 60 dollar donation to the Nutone fund…Skiv struggled in his first three tournament appearances, basically playing to a 40. With that in mind, the NutOne committee showed mercy, giving him a GHIN of 28 for 2009. Skiv did the rest, dazzling us all in a ‘Tiger at Pebble Beach-like’ performance. His record 31 shot victory may never be touched. His confidence is high going into 2010…but to no surprise his handicap isn’t. He is a 12 for NutOne contention this time around, so we hope he has been resting his ailing shoulder, because he will need every shot in the bag to have a sniff at back-to-back titles. So get one last picture with the trophy before we tee it up Skiv…your 15 minutes of fame might be just about up.
Other Information: 
One other personal note…this will be the final NutOne of Skiv’s bachelor life. Come July, his life ends…as many of the field can attest. So tip your glass to Skiv whenever you see him…and let’s make him defend his title with a low handicap and a daily hangover.
